George Quiz is much more than just a music quiz: it is a streaming application designed especially for the game. Unlike other games that rely on external services like YouTube or Spotify via QR codes, George uses his own music database. And it changes everything. Thanks to this, I can:

1. Ensure a selection of titles by years, genres, languages, nationalities of artists or level of difficulty…
2. Create thematic playlists (and allow you to merge them!)
3. Cut the intros and choruses to make them more fun
4. Ensure a quick reading so that the atmosphere never subsides

• A built-in buzzer system

Let’s be honest, very often a good music quiz with friends is improvised. At the aperitif or at the end of a dinner, someone pulls out his smartphone and off we go. And very often it is the fastest who screams his answer. Good or bad by the way… That’s exactly why I developed a buzzer system that can run on players’ smartphones and connected to my streaming app. And in addition, he counts the points. Practical and impartial.

• Respect for artists

This quality of service – based on 100% streaming use – involves the payment of copyrights. But at the same time… they deserve it! Without the artists, there would simply be no game.
George Quiz is the only game to specifically pay artists for the use of their music. And that’s non-negotiable!

For the sake of ecology, I chose to limit the paper in the game boxes as much as possible. But don’t panic: you can find the rules (and some tips and tricks to increase your gaming pleasure) on this page or directly in the app at the bottom in the settings.

I always listen to the players: if I see that a rule can be improved or that the app can evolve to make the games more fun, I adapt. And in this case, it’s easier to update the information on the site… than to send you a notice by mail

The George Quiz© application is available on Google Play and the App Store – in Belgium, France, Luxembourg… and Monaco (you never know 😄)

• Just type “George Quiz” in the search bar and press download (installation takes a few seconds).
• Even faster? Scan the QR code on this site or directly on the game box – hop, let’s go!

You can create your profile in two ways:

• With your Facebook, Google or Apple account
• Or with your email address

👉 If you choose the email:

1. Click on “Create my account” from the login screen
2. Enter your email address and a password
3. You will receive an email with a validation code (don’t forget to check your spam 😉)
4. Enter this code in the app and click “Validate my account”
5. Your profile has been created: you can now log in with your email address and password

💡 Tip: Unless you manually disconnect, you will automatically stay connected every time you open the app.

!!!!️ PAY ATTENTION: To log in, it is recommended to use the same login mode as used when creating your account.

👉 Example: if you created your account with Google Connect, don’t ask for a reset through your email address – it won’t work (and I promise, it’s not my fault 😅)

When you buy or receive a George Quiz game box, you unlock a permanent playlist of 600 hits, usable without any limit in the app — no subscription required.

Where can I find the code?

Your unique code is printed on the first card in the deck included in the box.

⚠️ Important: one code per box, usable only once and on a single account.

How do I enter your code in the app?

A) You’re opening the George Quiz app for the first time

When you open the app, you’ll see a welcome screen with two options:

1️⃣ “I have a box code and want to activate my 600 songs”
2️⃣ “I want to play but I don’t have a box yet”

👉 Select option 1, then enter your code in the dedicated field.
That’s it — your 600 hits are unlocked. You now have a “player with box” profile 🎉

B) You already had the app and want to activate your 600 permanent hits

1. Open the app and go to Settings

2. Tap on the number of days remaining (even if it shows 0)

3. You’ll be taken to the subscriptions page

4. Scroll all the way down to the section:
   “Do you have a box code or a promo code? Enter it here.”

5. Enter your code

6. Tap ✓ to confirm

✨ Done! Your account is now linked to your permanent 600-hit playlist. You now have a “player with box” profile 🎉

If you’re not receiving the password reset email, it’s most likely because your account was created using Apple Connect, Google, or Facebook — and not with a traditional password.

In that case, this is completely normal:
➡️ There simply isn’t a password to reset.
➡️ You can log back in using the same method you used when creating your account (Apple, Google, or Facebook).

For confidentiality reasons (GDPR), we are not allowed to indicate:

• whether an email address exists in our database,

• or explain why a password-reset email was not sent.

Yes, you can test the application without creating an account, thanks to the demo mode.
Once the app is installed, all you need to do is enter your age to access a demo version.

With this mode you can discover how the game works, with a selection of snippets. You can use it as often as you want, and even have it discovered around you.

📌 Note: The number of fragments is limited in demo mode.

Then you can unlock all the features thanks to a free trial week. All you have to do is activate a subscription (which you can cancel at any time during the trial period). And if you like the game, you can keep it active or restart it any time you want to play again.

If you purchased your box before March 1, 2025, it is (slightly) different from the box currently being marketed.The current version includes new cards, pawns and a brand new drawer! The application has also been renewed: the CLASSIC mode has been improved and new thematic playlists have appeared. 👉 The new rules are available HERE.

Do you have an old version of the box?

First of all, thank you for being one of our very first fans 🙏 Your box is now a collector! Don’t panic: you can of course play the new version without worries.
All you have to do is download and print the new container and the cards HERE

But you can also buy the new box…It is available for €19.99 on our website and in stores.It gives permanent access to 600 titles. You can also keep or resume a PREMIUM subscription to enjoy the +6,000 titles and playlists.

The issue you’re describing is usually not related to the GEORGE app itself, but to your phone’s settings.

Here are the most effective solutions to try, in this order:

1️⃣ Restart your phone

Turn your phone completely off, then turn it back on.
Open the GEORGE app and start a game to check if the sound is working again.

2️⃣ Reinstall the app

If the issue persists:

• uninstall the GEORGE app,
• reinstall it from the App Store or Google Play,
• log back in,
• test the sound again.

3️⃣ Check your phone’s audio settings

Go to your phone’s Settings, then Sound or Apps, and make sure there isn’t a specific setting or app (game mode, battery saver, parental control, etc.) that is managing or blocking sound for games.

🔍 Additional quick checks

• Make sure no headphones or Bluetooth devices are connected by mistake.
• Test the sound with another app (YouTube, Spotify, etc.) to confirm that your phone is playing audio properly.

Can’t create your account because the “Accept” button doesn’t appear?

Let me explain: when the font size of your phone is increased in the settings, the privacy policy screen may make an error. Result: the button to accept is hidden, so you remain blocked without being able to validate.👉Don’t panic, here’s how to unblock the situation in 4 easy steps:

1. Open your phone’s settings
2. Sets the font size to the default
3. Restart the George Quiz app
4. The “Accept” button should now be displayed: click on it to validate!

🎉 And good news: once you’ve accepted, I won’t ask you anymore.
So you can immediately place the font size of your preference and enjoy the game as you wish.

There are two types of codes in GEORGE Quiz:

1. The game box code

• It gives you access to the 600 permanent tracks included with the game box.

• Only one code is included per box, and it can be used only once, on one account.

• The code must be entered on the app’s home screen.

2. Promotional codes

• They give you access to PREMIUM mode for a limited period of time.

• They must be entered on the Subscription page of the app.

❌ If your code doesn’t work, here are the most common reasons:

1️⃣ The code was entered incorrectly

⚠️ Watch out for common confusions:

• “0” (zero) ≠ “O” (capital letter O)

• “1” (one) ≠ “I” (capital letter I)

• Make sure you’ve also included the dashes (–) — they are part of the code.

2️⃣ The code has already been used

• Codes can be used only once, on one account.

• If you’ve already activated your code, there’s no need to enter it again.

• Fully close the app, then reopen it.

3️⃣ You tried to use a code on an account that is already PREMIUM

• If your account already has an active PREMIUM subscription, the code will be considered invalid.
  👉 Simply wait until your current subscription ends to activate your code.

• A unique code to unlock the 600 titles in the app
• A block of 100 double-sided sheets for FOCUS mode
• A game board with 6 pawns
• A smartphone holder
• A notice of game modes

You can buy it on this site or in the right game stores.

• You can order the box directly on this site: it will arrive at your home in a few days, ready to animate your evenings.
• It is also available in most good game stores in Belgium and France, normally at the same price as on the site.

Your favorite store doesn’t have it yet? Don’t panic: just ask them. The game is referenced and should be on the shelf a few days later.

If you bought your box after September 10, 2025
Good news : nothing to do!

• Your code directly gives access to 600 permanent titles in the application.
• Your box already contains everything you need to play

If you bought your box between February 25, 2025 and September 10, 2025

Two scenarios:

• You have already activated your code before September 10, 2025 → your code gave you access to 3 free months in Premium mode
• You haven’t activated your code yet → it will now give you access to the 600 permanent titles, such as the new boxes

In both cases, your equipment is identical to the new boxes.

If you bought your box before February 2025

Congratulations you are one of our very first players! At that time, the box did not yet contain all the material of today.

So you have two options to continue playing with your box:

1. Download the missing items for free Game board and pawns + CLASSIC mode cards
2. Or buy the new box (only €19.99) to get the full version and access to the 600 permanent titles

If you order on a working day before noon, it is usually shipped the same day (efficiency, hello 👋).

Then, count 2 to 3 working days for the postman to do his job… except in the event of a strike, storm or pigeon invasion that would slow it down a little – fingers crossed 🤞

Delivery costs are calculated per box sent.

No, unless it’s still in cellophane and has never been opened.

Each box contains a unique activation code that gives access to the playlist of 600 permanent songs. If the box has already been opened, this code has probably already been used – so you will not be able to access the playlist.

👉 In summary:

• ✅ Yes, if the box is new and still sealed.
• ❌ No, if it has already been opened or used.

• 1 month → €2.99
• 3 months → €7.99
• 1 year → €19.99

• More than 6,000 streaming music excerpts, all thematic playlists, and advanced game features (sort by genre, year and language).

You can cancel your subscription at any time.

But be careful: as Apple or Google manage payments (and not me directly), the cancellation is not done in the George Quiz app, but in the settings of your phone.

Here’s how to do it:

• On iPhone: Settings > Your name > Subscriptions > George Quiz > Cancel
• On Android: Play Store > Profile icon > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions > George Quiz > Cancel

You can cancel, suspend or reactivate your subscription at any time from these settings.

⚠️ Important: Deleting your account in the George Quiz app does not cancel your subscription.

You will no longer have access to the game, but Apple or Google will continue to charge you until the subscription has been canceled via their settings.

This means that you are not connected with the right profile. A subscription can only be attached to one profile.

On the George Quiz app, you can only have one subscription, managed directly by Apple or Google (depending on your device). It always remains linked to the profile with which you activated it.

If you don’t see your subscription, it’s probably because you’re connected with a profile other than the one where your subscription is active.

👉 Example: if you created your account via Facebook and you take your subscription from this profile, it will always remain linked to your Facebook account. If you then log in with a different method (for example, your email address), you will not see your subscription. And you won’t be able to take another one back, because you already have an active one on your Facebook account.

⚡ Remember: you must always use the same connection method as the one chosen at the beginning.

Not yet… For now, it’s not possible. I work on it, but for technical and ergonomic reasons, it is quite complex to integrate into the application.

In the meantime, if you are a game Master, don’t panic: several solutions are available to you to be able to buzz anyway!

You can:

• Share a phone with another player on your team.
• Use a second device (smartphone or tablet) as a buzzer.

💡Good to know: any touch screen device connected to Wi-Fi can be used as a buzzer. No luck for your old Nokia 3310, it won’t do the job

The buzzer is the little extra touch to make the RUSH mode more fair (and a little less chaotic). No more debates about who answered first!

1/ To play, the game Master (the one who uses the smartphone with the active subscription) launches a game with the RUSH game mode.

• He makes his musical selection.
• The app generates a Buzzer room code and communicates it to other players so that they can connect.

2/ To be able to use a buzzer, other players must:

• Download the George Quiz app.
• Open it and click on the “Buzzer only” button and enter the room code
• Choose a team name (or play solo).

No need for a subscription for players: only the game Master must be subscribed

During the game:

• The name of each team is displayed on all players’ screens
• Points are calculated automatically, and the ranking changes in real time
• As soon as a player buzzes, the musical excerpt stops immediately
• The player’s name is displayed on his screen, as well as on that of the Game Master
• The player then has 8 seconds to answer
• In case of a wrong answer, the musical excerpt is reread to allow other players to try their luck and guess the title and/or the artist

With each new excerpt, the buzzers are automatically reset. Do you want to spice up the game? Activates the virtual dice (in the settings). The points will be calculated according to – see below “what is the virtual dice for? ”

Don’t panic, yes it’s possible! 😎

If a player has left the room (by mistake or because of a bug), he can return to the game, but he will lose his current points. Here’s how to do it 👇

1. The Game Master (GM) clicks on the “Buzzer Room” button at the bottom of its screen.
2. In the room screen, he sees the “Lock room” option with a button to activate or disable this function.
3. By default, the room is locked during the game to prevent new players from joining.
4. If a player has been disconnected, the GM can unlock the room to allow him to return.

⚠️ Warning: the player who returns starts from scratch – his previous points are not kept.

We are not going to lie to ourselves: my algorithm is not yet based on artificial intelligence. But he does his job well! He selects the titles according to your choices: via playlists, according to your age, or by selecting the genres, years and languages of the songs yourself. This selection also takes into account the level of difficulty of the titles and avoids repetitions

You can combine several thematic playlists to vary styles and eras.

The playlists per decade have an average of 300 tracks, those per musical genre revolve around 100 songs.
You can play with just one or accumulate several playlists at once, so let your creativity speak and mix the atmospheres as you want!

Little reminder for the RUSH mode: if you want to change playlists during the game, you will have to leave the game, and the scores will be reset. Choose well before you start!

Homemade playlists, with love!

Each playlist contains between 75 and 300 tracks, depending on the theme. Unless otherwise stated, they offer a mix of languages, with a majority of songs in English – especially for certain styles such as the New Wave or Disco.

*For each playlist, a little information in the app allows you to see its content and the number of titles included.

New playlists appear over the seasons and events: Christmas, summer, winter sports… always a good opportunity to play with the right atmosphere at the right time!

I try to vary the styles as much as possible so that everyone can find their groove. Currently, you can play with more than 20 different playlists: Disco Fever, Animated Movies, Dance Electro, Rap, Girl Power… and many others!

Special bonus: an exclusive Pop-Rock playlist, created by our partner radio CLASSIC 21, is also available!

Want to spice up the game (or put a little pressure on your opponents)?
You can activate a timer in CLASSIC and FOCUS modes.

Go to the app settings to activate it:

• Choose between automatic or manual mode
• Define the reflection time you want

In automatic mode, the timer starts at the end of the playback of the excerpt.
In manual mode, you can interrupt the excerpt whenever you want to start the countdown earlier.

The “virtual dice” is available in the “RUSH” game mode. To use it, you must activate it in the application settings because it is deactivated by default at the 1st opening. It determines whether the player must find:

• The title
• The artist
• Or both

You don’t have to use it, but the dice can add a little spice to the game!
It varies the number of points to be earned, while increasing the risk of making a mistake… and therefore losing more.
Don’t worry: the points are calculated automatically based on the result of the dice.

At George, no personal data is resold to third parties.

Usage data
Information related to the use of the application is used only to improve your gaming experience and refine the music selection algorithm.

Connection data
Your email address is only used to inform you of new features or available playlists.
