George Quiz is much more than just a music quiz: it is a streaming application designed especially for the game. Unlike other games that rely on external services like YouTube or Spotify via QR codes, George uses his own music database. And it changes everything. Thanks to this, I can:
Let’s be honest, very often a good music quiz with friends is improvised. At the aperitif or at the end of a dinner, someone pulls out his smartphone and off we go. And very often it is the fastest who screams his answer. Good or bad by the way… That’s exactly why I developed a buzzer system that can run on players’ smartphones and connected to my streaming app. And in addition, he counts the points. Practical and impartial.
This quality of service – based on 100% streaming use – involves the payment of copyrights. But at the same time… they deserve it! Without the artists, there would simply be no game.

I always listen to the players: if I see that a rule can be improved or that the app can evolve to make the games more fun, I adapt. And in this case, it’s easier to update the information on the site… than to send you a notice by mail

2️⃣ MOBILE APPLICATION
The George Quiz© application is available on Google Play and the App Store – in Belgium, France, Luxembourg… and Monaco (you never know 😄)
You can create your profile in two ways:

💡 Tip: Unless you manually disconnect, you will automatically stay connected every time you open the app.
!!!!️ PAY ATTENTION: To log in, it is recommended to use the same login mode as used when creating your account.
👉 Example: if you created your account with Google Connect, don’t ask for a reset through your email address – it won’t work (and I promise, it’s not my fault 😅)
Yes, you can test the application without creating an account, thanks to the demo mode.
Once the app is installed, all you need to do is enter your age to access a demo version.
With this mode you can discover how the game works, with a selection of snippets. You can use it as often as you want, and even have it discovered around you.
📌 Note: The number of fragments is limited in demo mode.
Then you can unlock all the features thanks to a free trial week. All you have to do is activate a subscription (which you can cancel at any time during the trial period). And if you like the game, you can keep it active or restart it any time you want to play again.
If you purchased your box before March 1, 2025, it is (slightly) different from the box currently being marketed.The current version includes new cards, pawns and a brand new drawer! Can’t create your account because the “Accept” button doesn’t appear?
Let me explain: when the font size of your phone is increased in the settings, the privacy policy screen may make an error. Result: the button to accept is hidden, so you remain blocked without being able to validate.👉Don’t panic, here’s how to unblock the situation in 4 easy steps:

Good news : nothing to do!
If you bought your box between February 25, 2025 and September 10, 2025
Two scenarios:
In both cases, your equipment is identical to the new boxes.
If you bought your box before February 2025
Congratulations you are one of our very first players! At that time, the box did not yet contain all the material of today.
So you have two options to continue playing with your box:
If you order on a working day before noon, it is usually shipped the same day (efficiency, hello 👋).
Then, count 2 to 3 working days for the postman to do his job… except in the event of a strike, storm or pigeon invasion that would slow it down a little – fingers crossed 🤞
Delivery costs are calculated per box sent.

Each box contains a unique activation code that gives access to the playlist of 600 permanent songs. If the box has already been opened, this code has probably already been used – so you will not be able to access the playlist.

PREMIUM mode is full access to George Quiz’s music streaming universe.
🎯 Want to challenge you? If you are the type to recognize ultra-niche titles, you can adjust the level of difficulty in the app settings: the algorithm will then offer you more sharp pieces.
The PREMIUM mode is activated directly in the application. It is a no-obligation subscription, which you can cancel at any time.

George Quiz offers three PREMIUM subscription formulas to adapt to your pace of play:

Why make subscriptions?
Respect for artists and authors is very important to me. Without their talent, George Quiz would simply not exist. That’s why I made agreements with music rights management companies in each country where my game is available. If you bought the box (thank you ), thanks to these agreements, you already benefit from 600 titles included unlimitedly, without subscription.
But, to access the complete repertoire of George Quiz (6,000 music excerpts and more than 30 streaming playlists), a subscription is required. It is thanks to this system that artists are paid each time they listen and that the game respects the rules of music streaming… and the law.
Good to know: You can test the PREMIUM mode for free for 7 days, without obligation.
Yes, of course! 🎉
You can activate a free trial week directly from the application (by activating and then canceling a first subscription).
For 7 days, you will have access to the entire George Quiz directory:
The trial is without obligation: at the end of the period, you choose whether or not you want to continue with a subscription.
You can cancel your subscription at any time.
But be careful: as Apple or Google manage payments (and not me directly), the cancellation is not done in the George Quiz app, but in the settings of your phone.
Here’s how to do it:
You can cancel, suspend or reactivate your subscription at any time from these settings.
⚠️ Important: Deleting your account in the George Quiz app does not cancel your subscription.
You will no longer have access to the game, but Apple or Google will continue to charge you until the subscription has been canceled via their settings.
This means that you are not connected with the right profile. A subscription can only be attached to one profile.
On the George Quiz app, you can only have one subscription, managed directly by Apple or Google (depending on your device). It always remains linked to the profile with which you activated it.
If you don’t see your subscription, it’s probably because you’re connected with a profile other than the one where your subscription is active.
👉 Example: if you created your account via Facebook and you take your subscription from this profile, it will always remain linked to your Facebook account. If you then log in with a different method (for example, your email address), you will not see your subscription. And you won’t be able to take another one back, because you already have an active one on your Facebook account.
⚡ Remember: you must always use the same connection method as the one chosen at the beginning.
5️⃣ GAME FEATURES
Not yet… For now, it’s not possible. I work on it, but for technical and ergonomic reasons, it is quite complex to integrate into the application.
In the meantime, if you are a game Master, don’t panic: several solutions are available to you to be able to buzz anyway!
You can:
💡Good to know: any touch screen device connected to Wi-Fi can be used as a buzzer. No luck for your old Nokia 3310, it won’t do the job
The buzzer is the little extra touch to make the RUSH mode more fair (and a little less chaotic). No more debates about who answered first!
1/ To play, the game Master (the one who uses the smartphone with the active subscription) launches a game with the RUSH game mode.
2/ To be able to use a buzzer, other players must:

During the game:
With each new excerpt, the buzzers are automatically reset. Do you want to spice up the game? Activates the virtual dice (in the settings). The points will be calculated according to – see below “what is the virtual dice for? ”
Don’t panic, yes it’s possible! 😎
If a player has left the room (by mistake or because of a bug), he can return to the game, but he will lose his current points. Here’s how to do it 👇
⚠️ Warning: the player who returns starts from scratch – his previous points are not kept.
We are not going to lie to ourselves: my algorithm is not yet based on artificial intelligence. But he does his job well! He selects the titles according to your choices: via playlists, according to your age, or by selecting the genres, years and languages of the songs yourself. This selection also takes into account the level of difficulty of the titles and avoids repetitions
You can combine several thematic playlists to vary styles and eras.
The playlists per decade have an average of 300 tracks, those per musical genre revolve around 100 songs.
You can play with just one or accumulate several playlists at once, so let your creativity speak and mix the atmospheres as you want!
Little reminder for the RUSH mode: if you want to change playlists during the game, you will have to leave the game, and the scores will be reset. Choose well before you start!
Homemade playlists, with love!
Each playlist contains between 75 and 300 tracks, depending on the theme. Unless otherwise stated, they offer a mix of languages, with a majority of songs in English – especially for certain styles such as the New Wave or Disco.
*For each playlist, a little information in the app allows you to see its content and the number of titles included.
New playlists appear over the seasons and events: Christmas, summer, winter sports… always a good opportunity to play with the right atmosphere at the right time!
I try to vary the styles as much as possible so that everyone can find their groove. Currently, you can play with more than 20 different playlists: Disco Fever, Animated Movies, Dance Electro, Rap, Girl Power… and many others!
Special bonus: an exclusive Pop-Rock playlist, created by our partner radio CLASSIC 21, is also available!
Want to spice up the game (or put a little pressure on your opponents)?
You can activate a timer in CLASSIC and FOCUS modes.
Go to the app settings to activate it:
In automatic mode, the timer starts at the end of the playback of the excerpt.
In manual mode, you can interrupt the excerpt whenever you want to start the countdown earlier.
The “virtual dice” is available in the “RUSH” game mode. To use it, you must activate it in the application settings because it is deactivated by default at the 1st opening. It determines whether the player must find:
You don’t have to use it, but the dice can add a little spice to the game!
It varies the number of points to be earned, while increasing the risk of making a mistake… and therefore losing more.
Don’t worry: the points are calculated automatically based on the result of the dice.

At George, no personal data is resold to third parties.
Usage data
Information related to the use of the application is used only to improve your gaming experience and refine the music selection algorithm.
Connection data
Your email address is only used to inform you of new features or available playlists.
